Move your Math was recently part of a multi-disciplinary gathering entitled “Minds in Movement: Prospects for the study of embodied cognition, learning, and culture” held on Emory’s campus May 15-17, 2023. Manuella Manetta and I shared our research findings with thirty participants by engaging them in somatic movement scores that integrated mathematical concepts with Laban Movement Studies.
